It’s Disney Elite's weekly UPdate to ensure your trip to Walt Disney World is that magical vacation you've been dreaming of! We have provided the most up-to-date information for events at all the Parks, as well as any closures or refurbishments to be aware of during your visit.
Everyone knows the quickest way around the world is to visit Epcot. With eleven countries represented, you can tingle every one of your senses. See all the bright colors representing each country and watch the many cultural performances by Cast Members. Taste the delectable treats and dine in Mexico, France, Germany, and more. Your nose will guide you where to go with the smell of fresh spices as you walk into every pavilion. When you step into each country, your ears will be filled with the sound of music from the many cultures represented. And, finally, be sure to touch all of the specialty merchandise from unique shops offering goods from around the world.
Did you know the Merchandise Cast Members have the exciting task of selecting all the merchandise for the World Showcase shops? There is always something new to take home with you with every visit. Imagine visiting the country of your ancestors, seeing the unique items from their country. Or, perhaps you’ve always wanted to see Paris or London. Epcot can get you there! Each country’s pavilion offers you that experience, and perhaps a little something to take home with you. It takes Cast Members months to research trends, travel to the various countries for inspiration, and create an assortment of products for each shop. Their efforts offer each guest a unique shopping experience.
