THE HAPPIEST NEWS ON EARTH!
There is a fantastic new vocal group at the resort performing 4 times nightly in Downtown Disney. While on the subject of Halloween music remember to catch the Dapper Dans on Main Street U.S.A. most afternoons. These boys are performing one heck of a frightful medley!
Tuesday morning I was up before the sun to continue a holiday tradition. I made our reservations for the Disneyland Hotel Thanksgiving Buffet in the main ballroom. While typing this piece I was on hold with Disney Dining again and I am sorry to report the event is now sold out. Not to worry though in future UPdates I will have information on other meals available for the holiday.
Two new previews for DCA
Beginning October 6th guest at Disney California Adventure will be treated to an extended preview of Thor: Ragnarok. The Sunset Showcase Theater will play host to this early look at the film. Also in the Hollywood Back-lot portion of the park don't miss your chance to get a picture with Thor himself!
November 3rd an extended preview of Coco moves into "Its' Tough to be a Bug" theater. You can currently catch A Musical Celebration of Coco just outside of Paradise Gardens, which has temporarily been re-named Plaza de la Familia. This lovely 15-minute show plays a few times a day and stars an excellent male singer/story teller. The production also features the Divas, DCA's Grammy winning female mariachi band, as well as Latin dancers, and some fantastic puppet work!
Well that's it for now. See ya real soon!
